Know your student's resources

The Boaz Leadership Team is filled with individuals that are built-in to the community as resources for your student. Your student will have an RA on their individual wing, but every single RA on the Boaz staff is a resource to your student. We also have student leaders called Peer Leaders available to help with academics, personal health, and tough conversations. The Commons Council is available to help advocate for your student and get your student connected with others in the community. The Faculty-in-Residence and Residential Community Director are also available to help your student. The Residential Community Director is available Monday through Friday from 8:30A - 5:00P and has an office on the first floor of Boaz to assist students.

There is an RA-On-Call for the Boaz community from 8PM-8AM every day of the week. The RA-On-Call's phone number is posted throughout the building, so if your student is experiencing a problem after-hours they are able to contact a staff member for assistance. The RA staff is trained to help with a variety of issues and is extremely knowledgeable about the Boaz community and skilled in supporting our Boaz students. Our RA staff members make rounds of Boaz to check on the well-being of students and the building, provide help with lockouts, assist with building security, enforce university policies, and act as an overall resource to Boaz students.

The area desk is located in Virginia-Snider Commons and is open from 8AM-8PM daily. The VS desk is available to assist students with lockouts.
